Learning conditions have received a boost in Badagry-West LCDA following the donation of 120 desks and chairs to two public primary schools by the Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr Mobolaji #Ogunlende.

The donation, executed through his non-governmental organisation, Real Acts of Kindness #RAK Development Foundation, benefitted Methodist Primary School, Enuko Akoko, and Methodist Primary School, Kweme, with the aim of improving classroom comfort and supporting basic educational infrastructure in the area.

Speaking on the intervention, Ogunlende emphasised the importance of creating a conducive learning environment for young pupils, noting that access to proper classroom furniture plays a key role in improving confidence, dignity and academic performance.

According to him, investing in foundational education is an investment in the future of communities, as pupils learn better when they are comfortable and properly equipped.

The initiative forms part of Ogunlende’s broader commitment to grassroots development and public education across Lagos State. Through the Real Acts of Kindness Development Foundation, he has continued to deliver people-centred interventions in critical sectors, particularly education, with a focus on empowering children and uplifting underserved communities.

School administrators, community leaders and pupils welcomed the donation, describing it as timely and impactful. Many noted that the additional desks and chairs would help reduce overcrowding in classrooms and enhance the overall learning experience for pupils.

The foundation noted that the intervention aligns with global development priorities, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), by strengthening access to dignified and supportive learning environments at the grassroots level.
